Osaka, Japan – July 1, 2019 - Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (President: Norihiko Ina; hereinafter “Kyocera”) today announced that it provided multifunctional products (MFPs) and printers for the G20 Osaka Summit 2019 held from June 28-29 at INTEX Osaka in Japan. This year marks the first time the G20 Summit was held in Japan. The company supplied equipment for the International Broadcasting Center set up at the Summit and other locations at the event.
In 2016, Kyocera had provided MFPs and printers for the G7 Ise Shima Summit held in Mie Prefecture, Japan, offering full on-site support which covered everything from machine installation to maintenance.
Kyocera was an early pioneer in the printing industry in developing products which achieve excellent durability and environmental performance. The company’s cost-efficient and environmentally friendly products used at this year’s G20 Summit were developed using Kyocera’s proprietary long-life technology, which contributes to reduced needs for component replacement and lower running costs.
Headquartered in Osaka (Chuo-ku, Osaka City), Kyocera Document Solutions helped make the Summit a success by providing complete support, including 24-hour maintenance service for MFPs and printers at each location to ensure that the summit attendees, press and other officials from around the world could work efficiently and smoothly.
